Municipal Election Results
April 2025 Municipal Elections
City of Dexter April 8, 2025 Municipal Election Results
Dexter, Missouri – The results are now in, and several important positions and initiatives were decided by the citizens of Dexter and Stoddard County.
Proposition K.I.D.S. 2025 Approved
One of the key issues on the ballot, Proposition K.I.D.S. 2025, was overwhelmingly approved by voters. This proposition allows the Dexter R-XI School District to issue $17 million in bonds for much-needed improvements to local school facilities, including upgrades to classrooms, athletic areas, and technology infrastructure. Importantly, the approval of this measure will not result in any increase in the current debt service property tax levy, meaning taxpayers will not face additional financial burdens as a result of this bond issue.
Stoddard County Health Board Elections
In other local election results, Dexter residents played a crucial role in electing members to the Stoddard County Health Board. Jeff Riddle and Debra Kiser will serve three-year terms following their successful campaigns.
Local School Board Elections
Several school board seats in local districts were also up for election. In the Dexter area, candidates for various positions across the Richland, Advance, and Puxico school districts were selected by voters.
